Under the supervision of the Service Line Leader/Practice Manager, the Lead Administrative/Surgical Coordinator is responsible for coordinating clinic operations and surgical scheduling within the practice. This role serves as a liaison for patients, physicians, hospitals, and other departments regarding surgical scheduling, authorization, and patient surgery preparation. In addition to coordinating surgical appointments and ensuring timely pre- and post-operative care arrangements, the Coordinator works closely with the front office and referral team to ensure referrals are distributed strategically to maximize surgical block utilization and enhance revenue. The Coordinator also plays a key role in revenue cycle processes by identifying opportunities to optimize billing practices, ensuring accurate documentation for reimbursement, and supporting financial reconciliation efforts. Additionally, the role involves troubleshooting administrative and IT issues related to clinic operations, compiling financial and compliance reports, and contributing to process improvements that enhance efficiency and revenue capture. Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $63,099 - $91,914 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $30.22 - $44.02 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). |
