Description - External We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Analyst IT Systems within our IT Geospatial Platforms department in The Woodlands, TX or Houston, TX. Essential Job Duties include: As part of the Oxy IT Geospatial Platforms team you will be responsible for supporting the ESRI ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal, ArcGIS Server, Enterprise Geodatabase) platform for our organization, as well as geospatial applications from other vendors. You will work on a variety of initiatives implementing GIS solutions and helping other members of the organization to implement solutions using the platform. This position requires self-motivation, the ability to prioritize, and work as part of a team while aligning with organizational goals. Qualifications - External Bachelor's degree in GIS or related field / or equivalent experience 2+ years industry experience in GIS. Knowledge of the use of GIS, able to translate problems and needs into GIS processes, workflows, and solutions Knowledge of ArcGIS Desktop ArcGIS Pro ArcGIS Desktop (ArcMap, ArcCatalog) Knowledge of the ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise platform or ArcGIS Online ESRI Enterprise/ArcGIS Online web interface ESRI Web Map ESRI WebApp Builder and Experience Builder Superior Communication Skills and Experience Assisting Others Comfortable with the use of Windows Desktops Comfortable with Microsoft Office Good time management skills Good team player Additional skills: Knowledge of business processes (pipeline, upstream oil and gas, electrical, construction, engineering, environmental, others) ArcGIS Enterprise / ArcGIS Online content management (users, items, groups and services) ArcGIS Analysis and Geoprocessing Experience Mapping or survey grade GPS experience (Trimble Products) Drone/UAS data management software experience (ESRI Site Scan, DroneDeploy) Python Programing experience (ESRI Libraries) JavaScript programming experience Experience integrating ESRI technology with other platforms ESRI Image management (Image Services, Tile Services, Mosaic Dataset) Microsoft Power Apps Legacy mapping platforms (Delorme XMap, Terrain Navigator Pro) Mobile mapping platforms (Well Site Navigator, Apple maps, Google Maps) Relocation: Will not be offered at this time Occidental does not offer sponsorship of employment-based nonimmigrant visa petitions for this role.
