Job Title: Database Manager

Company: Tree Services Unlimited

Pay: $85,000 - $100,000 annually

Job Objectives: The Database Manager at TSU oversees and manages the database systems, specifically focusing on One VM Power BI. This role involves coordinating closely with the management team and General Foremen to ensure the accurate tracking and completion of tree-related service appointments, work requests, and constraints. The Database Manager will also be responsible for maintaining organized records, resolving discrepancies, and compiling weekly production numbers for tree crews.

Job Duties:



  • Monitor One VM Power BI for Inspected/Prescribed, Approved, Scheduled, Completed, and Constrained work, providing weekly reports to management.
  • Create service appointments in One VM for Tree Crews in collaboration with Management and General Foremen.
  • Track and ensure the completion of service appointments, close appointments, and synchronize data.
  • Receive and manage all Tree Crew paperwork, verifying completeness, and scanning documents into shared folders.
  • Print and route Legacy work requests/orders as appropriate.
  • Pull CSV and upload to Lake Unit Tracker.
  • Daily pull of P2 and Tree Mortality units from PGE Power BI.
  • Manage Unit Tracker for Legacy work, including routing and tracking assignments, constraints, and completion dates.
  • Monitor and coordinate resolution of constraints in both Legacy and One VM systems.
  • Perform a soft close daily for P1s, P2s, and Tree Mortality/CEMA units due within the next 45 days.
  • Verify and ensure soft closure or constraint for all P1s, P2s, and Tree Mortality due or completed that day.
  • Ensure all Priority work coming due is in the hands of tree crews, including printing and ensuring work requests are signed.
  • Compile weekly Tree Crew Production numbers from daily Tally Counts and submit to management before forwarding to PGE.
  • Pull reports from PMD/VMD as needed.
  • Research and update contact information in VMD as required.
  • Other duties as needed.


Requirements:



  • Experience with One VM is essential.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Willingness to work extended hours when necessary to meet deadlines.



Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Moderate noise typical of an office setting such as computers, printers, phone, and light customer traffic
