As a Senior Marketing Associate for Retail Annuities, you'll assist in bringing our story to life by supporting the creation of content that inspires financial advisors and connects our products with the people they serve. From helping launch marketing campaigns to managing resources that empower financial advisors, you'll play a key role in how New York Life delivers value in a competitive marketplace.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist in telling New York Life's annuity story by supporting content development initiatives for our annuity products, including contributing to messaging and building your own content.
  • Support marketing efforts for new product launches by collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet Sales and Marketing needs and help drive awareness and momentum for new solutions.
  • Help execute key marketing campaigns to support sales teams in driving annuity sales, working closely with Sales, Relationship Management, Legal, Design, Production, and Digital teams.
  • Assist in reviewing and updating existing product support materials to ensure they remain effective, timely, compliant, and readily accessible in our resource library.
  • Contribute to the development of actionable sales ideas and assist in creating marketing materials, tools, videos, and communications to help drive annuity sales.
  • Collaborate with Product Development to support the introduction of product enhancements, including updating core materials and assisting with communication rollouts.
  • Manage multiple content management processes, ensuring resources are accurately tagged and organized across websites and the asset library.
  • Monitor usage and inventory levels of marketing resources, collaborating with Design and Procurement to recommend printing strategies and discontinuing material.
  • Help identify future marketing opportunities by supporting AI research, monitoring competitors, and analyzing industry trends to improve content and streamline processes.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, content creation, or communications, ideally within financial services or a related field, with exposure to creating and supporting multi-channel B2B/B2B2C content programs.
  • A collaborative team player with strong writing skills, a creative mindset, and an eye for design, who enjoys translating technical product features into accessible, benefit-focused messaging.
  • A basic understanding or interest in annuities, retirement planning, or complex financial products is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and support collaboration across a highly matrixed organization.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to assist in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with or supporting creative teams, freelancers, or external partners is a plus.
  • A willingness to learn and think strategically to align tasks with broader business goals.
  • Familiarity with content management systems or a willingness to learn; experience with AI-driven content tools is a bonus.

Pay Transparency

Salary Range:$77,500 - $92,500

Overtime eligible:Exempt

Discretionary bonus eligible:Yes

Sales bonus eligible:No

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.

Please note: This role requiresFINRA licensedand/or FINRA Associated Person pre-hire fingerprinting.
