The Financial Systems Associate, working under direct supervision, is responsible for supporting financial systems and technology platforms. The role ensures the efficient and accurate operation of financial systems that enables effective financial reporting, analysis, and decision-making processes. Collaborates closely with finance and accounting teams. Assists with implementing system enhancements and developing and delivering end-user training.

  • Maintains financial systems, ensuring their smooth operation, data integrity, appropriate user access and security controls, and adherence to established controls and protocols.


  • Collaborates with finance and accounting teams to understand their system needs.


  • Contributes to system implementation projects, which may include facilitating requirements gathering, system configuration, data migration, and user training.


  • Conducts regular system audits and assessments to identify and address system inefficiencies, data discrepancies, and process bottlenecks, implementing corrective actions as needed.


  • Works with IT teams and vendors to troubleshoot system issues, perform system upgrades and enhancements, and ensure system performance meets business requirements.


  • Develops and maintains system documentation, including user guides, process flows, and standard operating procedures, to facilitate system understanding and training for end-users.


  • Provides end-user support and training, addresses system-related inquiries, and assists users in leveraging the full functionality of financial systems.


  • Monitors and enforces system security measures, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and internal control requirements, and regularly reviews access permissions and segregation of duties.


  • Stays informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to financial systems, making recommendations for system improvements and enhancements.


  • Supports internal and external auditors during financial audits, provides necessary documentation, explains system processes, and controls, and addresses any audit findings related to financial systems.


  • 0+ years of experience in Finance, Information Systems or a related field.


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Systems, Accounting or a related field and/or commensurate experience.


Location

Hybrid defined as three or more days per week in the office.
