Job Description

Position Overview

Join us at Torch Technologies, a forefront innovator in tech solutions, as a Quality Assurance Intern for Summer 2025. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in quality assurance processes and contribute to the overall success of our projects. The QA Intern will work closely with our QA team to ensure that our products and services meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

During your internship, you may...



  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Perform audits of procedures and processes to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Conduct testing and inspections of products, services, or software to identify any defects or issues.
  • Document and report quality assurance activities, findings, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality-related concerns and improve overall product quality.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.

Job Requirements

Qualifications



  • Currently enrolled at an accredited university, pursuing a Bachelor's degree inQuality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Basic understanding of quality assurance principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).


Preferred Qualifications



  • Previous internship or coursework in quality assurance is a plus.
  • Experience/ course work in Manufacturing Systems Design, Production and Inventory Control, Statistics and Quality Control, and Systems Management.


Requirements



  • US Citizen.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Actively enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited educational institution.
  • In good academic standing with a grade point average of 3.0.
  • Commitment to a full-time schedule during the internship period.
