Add to favorites Favorited View favorites Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $48,600 - Midpoint: $60,800 (Salaried E7) Department/Organization: 506151 - Talent Acquisition Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm Job Summary: The Talent Acquisition Specialist I coordinates functions or processes involved in the acquisition of high quality candidates by utilizing strategic recruiting methods under general supervision. Additional Department Summary: Collaborates with hiring managers to identify and attract qualified candidates. Administers University's staff employment programs and services. Ensures a positive candidate experience, maintains an organized recruitment process, and contributes to building a skilled workforce. This position is ideal for someone looking to grow within the HR or recruitment field. Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher and some experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, marketing, and/or human resources. Skills and Knowledge: High attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and applicant tracking systems. Knowledge of social media platforms and job boards. Knowledge of WordPress. Excellent written and verbal communication and public relations skills. Ability to multitask. Knowledge of recruiting and talent acquisition techniques. Ability to work in a team-based environment and independently to meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: SHRM or PHR certification.
