Maintenance Technician

Salary Range: $21.00 - $22.00/hr based on experience

Maintenance is responsible for the entire upkeep and maintenance of all machinery, equipment, vehicles, trailers, facilities and grounds.

1. Assist lead Maintenance as directed in maintenance on all production equipment, including tools, forklifts, pallet jacks, balers, motors, chains, conveyors, electrical panels, and all other relevant equipment
2. Assist as directed: Maintain and adequately perform repairs and/or necessary inspections on all company fleet vehicles, including semi-trucks, trailers, etc.
3. Keep all tools organized and accounted for
4. General upkeep and maintenance of building & grounds- roof, doors, lighting -inside and out, fans, drains, etc.
5. Establish and maintain an active "to-do" list on dry erase board or other accessible source indicating status of importance
6. Cost comparison research & order parts as needed for "approved" repairs to equipment
7. Develop new pieces of equipment, structures and so on as needed, including fabrication
8. Establish and maintain preventive maintenance schedule for all relevant equipment, machinery, vehicles and other necessary items
9. Perform preventive maintenance in accordance with established schedule and acceptable guidelines
10. Other duties may be assigned by Manager or Supervisor

• High School diploma, or equivalent
• Valid State Driver's License
• Mechanical knowledge and experience
• General construction knowledge and experience, including fabrication
• Relevant electrical experience and abilities
• Technical skills and expertise
• Relevant computer, reading, writing and math skills

Up to 10%, as needed

Basic knowledge.
