Work type: On Campus Location: Normal, Illinois Title: Library Budget Manager Job Summary Under the administrative review of the Dean of Milner Library this person is responsible for the business operations of Milner Library ensuring sound fiscal management and balanced budgets. This includes planning budgets and spending patterns with the Dean; determining which funding source is appropriate to route and pay expenses; independently processing all library, agency, restricted, and foundation expenses; and independently monitoring all library accounts and budgets. The incumbent will reconcile library materials budgets with the current system, and reconcile internal bookkeeping systems with university accounting system, as well as oversee and analyze internal budgets with multiple programs and databases. The incumbent will prepare budget reports and analyses for the Dean and other administrative personnel, as appropriate. This position also serves as the liaison with the ISU Human Resources Department and is responsible for ensuring compliance with university and governmental procedures for personnel hiring, position changes and records retention. Additional Information University Benefit Highlights: Salary Rate / Pay Rate $65,000 - $75,000 annual, commensurate with experience Required Qualifications 1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting, business administration, management, or a field related to the position. Preferred Qualifications 1.
