The Information System Engineer performs IT functions including design, implementation, management, and maintenance of company infrastructure and software systems in support of business objectives. In this role you will work to ensure the highest levels of availability, performance, fault tolerance, and security for critical infrastructure. Provides superior customer support while contributing to a positive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proficiently and expediently deploys, monitors, and maintains patch compliance.
- Managing and administering the Azure cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance and security
- Automates routine administrative tasks using scripting.
- Immediately responds to critical company infrastructure issues.
- Proactively manages endpoint and network device lifecycles.
- Maintains security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
Qualifications:
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Management Information Services or a closely related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-5 years' experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows/Linux based server Operating System environments.
- 3-5 years' experience with Windows desktop in a corporate environment (Win /11)
- Ability to develop and maintain technical documentation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft System Center Suite (SCCM/SCVMM/SCOM)
- Knowledge of Azure VMs/Networking
- Solid Cloud Experience (Azure/Intune/Entra)
- Demonstrated knowledge of network and server security
- Experience managing server hardware with Industry standard tools (HPSIM/Kace)
- PowerShell/Python/Bash/Automation scripting skills
- Working knowledge of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity concepts and practices
- Database (SQL/Oracle) Installation and management
- Expertise in Storage Area Networks (SAN) and Storage Array Management (Hitachi)
- Experience with Virtualization (Hyper-V, VMWare)
- Detailed understanding of core network services (AD/DNS/DHCP)
The estimated base salary range for the position is $81,000-$124,000. The pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, job-related experience, skills and level of the position. *Sponsorship is not available for this position now or in the future.
