The Opportunity:

This position involves leading the service delivery of the regional strategy for air operations and ensuring excellence in services. It includes front-line leadership of air product services and managing people in execution across North America. The role focuses on delivering a superior customer experience, acting as an escalation point to identify and resolve issues quickly, and ensuring effective communication within the network.

Additionally, the role supports overall leadership for air product functions within the region, contributing to GP growth, on-time service delivery, vendor management, and customer satisfaction. The leader will work closely with the team to proactively address challenges and implement solutions, ensuring a high level of service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

* Leader to the Air Specialists and Air Coordinators: Depending on area of assignment, coordinates and Plans day-to-day work of Program Leads and Specialists.

* Management of transactional Operations area to include delivery arrangement, planning and follow-up of shipments

* Training Specialists who are new to the company and/or role and to ensure task mastery in Operations and Services

* Safeguards proper handling of documents according to compliance regulations and internal procedures, IOP'S, SOP'S

* Escalation point and management responsibility for Specialists to follows-up on challenging shipment matters during lifetime of shipment transport; identifies solutions and ensures resolution of incidents

* Facilitate and Create key relationships with suppliers and stakeholders internal and external

* Partner closely with Air Product to monitors supplier (internal and external) performance and develops improvement plans when required

* Creates, builds and maintains relationships with other internal functions (e.g. Sales, OCE, Product) and acts as subject matter expert for ad hoc operational questions with regards to accounts which are being serviced

* Lead proper implementation of customers and collaborate with all Products to ensure successful customer launch

* Lead capacity with Warehouse, Product, and Global Service Centres, if required

* Develop Air Specialist Colleagues in their growth within the team.

* Assist in all supporting processes as assigned related to Air Freight Operations and Services to include Revenue Management/Finance tasks, Compliance Matters, Claims handling, File Management, Systems Testing, and Implementation Coordination as needed to cover for the team and as assigned by the Manager at any given time and when required (i.e. peak season, heavy volumes, short staffed)

* Any Other Duties as assigned by Direct Leader as needed to meet the business needs.

What you'll bring:

* High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in a related business area is preferred

* 3-4 years of experience in Industry related Air Freight Activity

* Experience with Leadership directly or indirectly preferred

Compensation & Benefits:

* Salary Range: $65,000 - $73,000 USD*

* Full-Time Employees Eligible for:

*The stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary and may be adjusted based on market conditions, experience, and location. Final compensation will be discussed directly with the selected candidate(s) in compliance with all applicable laws.
