Job Summary

We are seeking a highly creative, energetic and driven Copywriter to join our growing marketing team. You will be responsible for crafting compelling copy and content across various marketing platforms with an emphasis in direct response and social media to enhance our brand presence, drive sales and engagement, and support our marketing objectives and product strategies.

You possess a deep understanding of effective marketing and social media trends, best practices, and platform nuances, and you have a proven track record of creating impactful copy in a superfast pace environment with multiple simultaneous deliverables and quick turnaround times. AI and new tech proficiency will be critical for maximum efficiency.

The Copywriter reports to the Creative Services/Editorial Director.

Responsibilities
  • Writes across multiple creative disciplines and platforms with an emphasis in direct response for B2C and B2B and social media.
  • Transforms facts and strategic insights into compelling ideas that achieve maximum results across all media platforms.
  • Be well-versed in and on top of the different social media platforms (Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Tiktok, etc) adapting tone and style to platform and content format (captions, posts, tweets, reels, etc.)
  • Works in close partnership with all marketing teams, creative directors and internal/external creative teams to ensure brand consistency and goals alignment.
  • Stay up to date with best practices for our channels, and performance metrics to continually optimize our work.
  • Assists Designers and Production in preparing meticulous layouts and mechanicals that deliver on the conceived concept and meet printer/vendor specifications and requirements.
Qualifications
  • 5-7 years copywriting experience in all media. Direct marketing background a big plus, with experience in managing creative development for complete campaigns from start to finish. Should have a good graphic design sense.
  • Must provide a portfolio of work that shows strong headlines, persuasive copy and conceptual thinking.
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofing skills with a strong command of grammar and style. Experience with AI and other tech tools will be critical for maximum efficiency.
  • Experience developing integrated campaigns and all media including direct mail, retail, print, TV, radio, outdoor, web and interactive. Social media is a must.
  • Deep understanding of effective marketing and social media trends, best practices, and platform nuances, and you have a proven track record of creating impactful copy.
  • Demonstrated ability to disaggregate and analyze problems, to probe facts, identify and question assumptions and analyze issues from different perspectives to inform decision-making processes.
  • Time management skills and outstanding ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize and deliver great work on time.
  • Strong computer skills a must (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

PAY TRANSPARENCY

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is$64,260.00-$105,570.00/ year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
