Executive Service INTELLECTUAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES INVESTIGATOR 2 Department of Disability and Aging Nashville, TN Monthly Salary: $4,517.00 - $5,638.00 Closing Date: 03/10/2025 This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule. Who we are and what we do:The Department of Disability and Aging supports people to live the lives they envision for themselves by ensuring people can exercise rights, engage with the community and experience optimal health. At DDA, we are responsible for administration and oversight of services and supports for more than 1.5 million older adults and Tennesseans with disabilities. Job Overview: Job responsibilities include receipt and triage of calls to the DDA Abuse Hotline with participation in On-Call Investigator rotations outside office hours and on the weekends and conducting investigations of allegations of abuse/neglect/exploitation wherein evidence is summarized in a final report and analyzed to reach a sound conclusion. Key Responsibilities: Additional responsibilities include in person responses to egregious events per protocol and visits to event sites when conducting interviews/investigations. Local travel is required with some travel to other regions possible as this is a statewide position. Minimum Qualifications: Qualifications include education equivalent to graduation from a standard high school and three years of professional investigative or professional work with Individuals with Developmental or Intellectual disabilities. Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in Social Work or other, relevant behavioral science may substitute for the required experience up to two years. Required Experience: Three years of professional investigative or professional work with Individuals with Developmental or Intellectual disabilities.
