Job Summary
PERFORMANCE DETAILS 1. What's the major objective(s) of the role? Specifically, what does this person need to do to be considered a success? What will they be working on? Develop complex data extracts, applications, and ad-hoc queries as requested by internal and external customers using SQL, SSIS, Informatica, and .NET technologies. Requests include custom flat files, EDI, user applications, and a significant focus on healthcare encounters and HIPAA X12 transactions: 277, 835, 837, 997, 999, TA1. 2. What are the MUST HAVE technologies for this position? (Please list must have technologies / technical skills and what the candidate needs to do in order to be considered great at them) 1. Experience with SQL Server, Transact SQL and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and highly desirable - Informatica, C#, and XML. 2. Managed file transfer automation experience: FTP, SFTP, PGP. 3. Expert knowledge of relational database applications and data query protocols (SQL Server, Structured Query Language). 3. What are the MUST HAVE Critical Skills for this position ( For critical skills, please also describe what the person needs to do with them in order to be considered very good at it.) 1. Ability to drive and balance deadlines, balancing multiple priorities, and ensuring quality standards. 2. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and innovative thinking skills. 4. What are the NICE TO HAVE technologies you wouldn't mind seeing on a candidate's resume? 1. Fami liarity with appropriate handling of PHI data. 2. Knowledge of dental or medical insurance claims processing including: hands on experience with HIPAA X12 EDI transaction formats including: 277, 835, 837, 997, 999, TA1. Education Requirements BS degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field (or equivalent experience). Important Details 4 years as a Developer, Data Analyst, or equivalent implementing technical solutions (extracts, middleware, stored procedures, EDI, ETL packages). Experience with SQL Server, Transact SQL and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), C#, XML, and Informatica. Managed file transfer automation experience: FTP, SFTP, PGP. Expert knowledge of relational database applications and data query protocols (MS Access, SQL Server, Structured Query Language, SQL Reporting Services).
