Seasonal HR Assistant

Seneca also provides vegetable products to other companies under various co-pack arrangements.

Seneca Foods of Montgomery, MN, a food production and distribution center located approximately 35 miles southwest of the Twin Cities metro, is currently seeking a Seasonal Human Resource Assistant to join its team.

Position Summary:

Assists the Human Resource Manager with administrative duties including (but not limited to) staffing, training documents and logs; internal and external correspondence; FMLA administration and recordkeeping; and filing / documentation.

Responsibilities:

* Assists with Seasonal Staffing support including but not limited to data entry, filing, orientations, reporting, training and employee investigations

* Provides back-up support for the Human Resource Manager

* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

* Must have good attention to detail and accuracy

* Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) preferred

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PPT, etc.

* Ability to maintain extreme confidentiality

* Strong oral and written communication skills

* Good organizational skills

* HR or related education/experience preferred

Starting wage range based on skills, abilities and experience $15.50 per hour.
