Quality Control Inspector

Staffmark is looking for a dedicated Quality Control Inspector to join a dynamic and collaborative team in Houston, TX. We've partnered with a leading distributor of Carbon and Stainless Pipe, Fittings, and Flanges, and we're excited to invite you to apply for this great opportunity. Pay: $16-$18 per hour (Depending on experience.)

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Use and maintain essential measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, tape measures, height gages, and NPT threaded gages
• Conduct daily inspections of inbound and outbound materials to ensure quality standards are met
• Perform detailed examinations of materials and finished products to ensure they meet specifications
• Develop and enhance quality control procedures to improve efficiency
• Participate in routine visual inspections of all products
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Accurately enter data into reports and track inspections

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably in pipe threading or similar industrial roles
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise guidelines and specifications
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
