About the Role

Ogilvy New York is looking for an Associate Design Director with a multidisciplinary background to join our creative team. This is an opportunity to become part of a group passionate about design, telling compelling stories, and creating extraordinary experiences. In all things creative, we believe in pushing boundaries and clarity of execution. Our work spans brand identity, advertising campaigns, and activations.

You should have a refined design eye, know how to tastefully use typography, and always strive towards excellence in your craft. You can demonstrate your passion to solve complex communication challenges in a fast-paced environment through strategy, concept and a deep understanding of how to exceed audiences' expectations and engage them on behalf of our clients. If your portfolio showcases strong design and an extensive background crafting intuitive and innovative digital experiences, we want to talk to you.


What You'll Do

  • Concept and execute sound creative ideas across various mediums in an efficient and compelling manner
  • Collaborate with a centralized design team that works across various accounts and projects within the agency
  • Present and pitch work internally and to clients; push for creative excellence
  • Mentor and guide junior and mid-level designers
  • Continue to develop and master your craft as a designer


What You'll Need

  • 4+ years of experience working as a Senior Designer
  • Experience pitching your work, taking feedback, and working collaboratively to find creative solutions
  • Ability to provide thoughtful guidance and clear direction tocreative staff
  • Advanced skillset with the latest design and presentation software
  • Demonstrated ability to create compelling solutions for clients in a variety of mediums
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills
  • Strength in organization, time management, prioritization, and ability to quickly adapt to changes

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. $75,000 $180,000 USD
