How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
This position reports to the Senior Tax Manager and is mainly responsible for preparation of international and federal tax related forms. The Tax Senior will work closely with the tax team to meet various deadlines and be involved in researching technical aspects of international and federal taxation. Key Job Responsibilities
- Independently complete various tax returns by required deadlines, e.g. Forms 1120, 5471, 8865, 8858, 8990, 8991, 8992, 8993, etc.
- Lead data analysis from various foreign jurisdictions and respond to their requests
- Complete tax provision, computations and statutory returns
- Independently perform fixed asset calculation (depreciation, gain/loss etc.) for multiple CFCs
- Independently perform CFC stock basis, overall tax basis and interest expense allocation for form 1118 foreign tax credit calculation
- File 1042 and 1042-S for all entities
- File FBAR for all entities and officers
- Prepare 4626 for Alternative Minimum Tax (CAMT)
- Prepare Form 7208 Excise Tax on Repurchase of Corporate Stock
- Perform taxable income projection, forecast, tax estimates and extension
- Lead tax research, analysis and memo documentation for various domestic and international tax topics
- Provide support to respond to various jurisdictional and external tax audit, data request, inquiry, assessment
- Provide support for tax planning on M&A and other ownership transactions with goal to optimize tax efficiency
- Undertake a variety of assignments requiring knowledge of principles and techniques commonly employed
- Independently research and analyze key issues to assist management in decision making
- Coach other team members or interns to assist with compliance projects
Education Requirements
- Bachelor in Accounting or similar discipline required
- Preferred Master's Degree and/or CPA
General Requirements
- A minimum of 4+ year experience working; preferable in large accounting firm and / or multinational corporation tax department
- Proficient with Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Corptax and CCH research tool
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; good attitude, tax enthusiast, and team player
- Organized and reliable tax professional with practical experience and solid technical skills
- Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize under pressure and within timeline constraints
- Experience and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
