As a Zoetis Professional Services Veterinarian, you will:

• Lead the widespread adoption of higher standards of care and animal welfare
• Work alongside the Inside and Digital Sales Team.
• Educate and influence veterinary colleagues and practice teams by giving lectures, facilitating / roundtable discussions on the latest up-to-date information on small animal diseases, Zoetis products / services, medical advancements, practice management topics in a virtual environment
• Be the "voice of the veterinarian" when advising on strategies and educating internal teams (sales and marketing).
• Be a coach, a trainer, and a leader: you bring the ability to flex your style and communication to the needs of your sales team, colleagues, and peers.
• Seek coaching and timely feedback to and from sales team members.
• Partner with your Inside and Digital Sales Business Manager(s) to develop and successfully achieve the area's business strategy and objectives.
• Become a valued and trusted advisor to veterinary customers your sales team, peers, and colleagues.
• Help protect and grow the Veterinary Industry, our Zoetis Business and Zoetis Brand.
• Maintain a commitment to your own personal and professional growth to enhance your relevance, impact, and engagement. Stay current in assigned areas of veterinary medicine.
• Support training and development needs of sales colleagues and peers
• As requested, occasionally support the field sales force as a professional service veterinarian
• As requested, provide booth support at national veterinary conferences
• Contribute to the development of technical or marketing presentations/materials. Review sales materials for technical accuracy, medical appropriateness, and utility.
• Provide sound technical advice on routine inquiries. Respond quickly and effectively to customer inquiries/questions/complaints, fulfill regulatory requirements, and follow corporate guidelines with respect to adverse event reporting. You may respond reactively to off label inquiries within regulatory guidelines, however; this is not the focus of your role.
• Work with sales, marketing, veterinary professional services, and sales learning team colleagues in a professional manner to consistently meet expectations around integrity/compliance, work ethic, role/responsibility, conduct, effective communication, administrative responsibilities, and teamwork.

Position Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent degree
• Current and active veterinary license, in good standing
• A valid US driver's license
• 5+ years of experience as a veterinarian in companion animal general clinical practice
• Curiosity, positivity, and a growth mindset
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong relationship building skills
• Experience with video conferencing (Facetime, Zoom, etc.)
• Willingness and ability to travel for work (15-33% of work time travel expected, depending on geography)
• Occasional weekend and evening work are part of the position
• Ability to share shifts with peers that include evening hours in order to support customers and colleagues across the 4 continental US time zones.

The following base pay range reflects the anticipated base pay for this position if a selected candidate were to
be located in (Colorado). Base pay may vary based on location and other factors.

Base Pay Range: $95,000 - $145,000

The following base pay range reflects the anticipated base pay for this position if a selected candidate were to be located in (California), (NJ Remote), (NY Remote), or (Washington). Base pay may vary based on location and
other factors.

Base Pay Range: $125,000-170,000

[This position is eligible for short-term incentive compensation.] [The position is also eligible for long-term incentive.]
