Polisher

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a first shift (6AM - 2:30PM) Polisher based in Reamstown, PA. The Polisher is responsible for the final finish on stainless steel, bronze, and aluminum fabricated parts.

HOURLY HIRING RANGE: $20/hr. - $25/hr. plus mandatory overtime as needed (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). $2,000 Sign-on Bonus (details provided during interview)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Install or replace polishing belts and discs
• Polish product and teach polishing techniques to other team members
• Use different polishing methods and machinery to obtain specified finishes
• Apply lacquer or statuary finished as needed
• Perform various duties in plant, move and handle heavy items; requires manual dexterity to operate factory equipment

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• High school diploma and/or GED Certification
• 1-year previous manufacturing experience
• Demonstrated mechanical abilities
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions, and decimals
• Experience with various hand tools (manual and powered)

• 3-5 years of metal polishing experience
