As a Receiving Inspector, the responsibility will be to receive and inspect all incoming deliveries of manufactured parts to ensure quality and order accuracy according to established procedures. Collaboration with the Material Review Board will be necessary to identify issues and implement corrective actions as needed.

To excel in this role, a high level of accuracy with a detail-oriented approach is required. Employees serve customers from all over the world - from general, business, to commercial aviation. This role plays a crucial part in keeping customers flying!

THIS POSITION MAY BE FOR YOU IF...

  • A high school diploma/GED is required.
  • At least two years of experience in receiving inspection is needed.
  • Experience with mechanical and electrical hand tools, including measurement instruments, is essential.
  • High proficiency in interpreting a wide range of drawings, blueprints, and standards is necessary.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
  • Strong attention to detail is a must.
  • Being organized, focused, and results-oriented is important.
  • Problem-solving skills with critical thinking and prioritizing abilities are needed.
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.

  • Relevant experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.


WHAT CAN BE EXPECTED FROM ONE DAY TO THE NEXT...
  • Inspect incoming manufactured parts to ensure they meet specifications and released drawings with a high level of accuracy.
  • Perform critical dimensional measurements using standard mechanical and electrical instruments and functional gauges.
  • Interpret and read drawings and other types of specifications.
  • Validate certificates of conformance, process tags, rework or non-conforming tags, or other associated documentation.
  • Actively participate on the Material Review Board for non-conforming parts disposition.
  • Record and maintain inspection records per Quality Management System requirements.
  • Assist Shipping/Receiving during high volume periods.
  • Constantly handle, feel, and manipulate small objects.
  • Occasionally lift and carry independently up to 50 lbs.



Estimated Min Rate: $43680.00
Estimated Max Rate: $62400.00
