with our client in the cosmetic industry located in Addison, TX.

* 1-Year assignment (with the possibility of permanent hire)

* Pay: $28.00/hr.

* Hybrid (Monday - Thursday Onsite Friday Remote)

Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Social Media Analytics & Social Trends Specialist to support our Global Marketing Team. This role combines expertise in social media analytics with trend monitoring and strategic guidance. The ideal candidate will leverage data insights to inform decision-making, monitor social trends across platforms, and provide actionable recommendations to ensure the company stays timely and relevant. This individual will also support content and community management initiatives, ensuring alignment with our global social strategy.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Social Trend Monitoring and Strategy Support:

* Research and monitor global social media trends across all major platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Groups) to identify timely opportunities for Mary Kay to engage authentically and strategically.
* Collaborate with internal creative team to ensure social content aligns with platform-specific trends and brand objectives.
* Develop recommendations for proactive participation in trending topics, challenges, and conversations relevant to Mary Kay's brand and audiences.

TikTok Content and Community Management:

* Manage TikTok content and community interactions, fostering meaningful engagement and responding to comments.
* Collaborate with the creative team to develop and guide the production of relevant, on-brand content that reflects social trends and resonates with target audiences, including TikTok.
* Use TikTok Analytics to track performance and optimize future campaigns.

Collaboration & Communication:

* Partner with internal teams to align platform strategies with Mary Kay's global social media goals.
* Provide regular updates on industry news, global trends, and competitive analysis to Mary Kay teams, ensuring these insights complement broader social media trend tracking and strategy development.
* Share insights and social media performance updates to ensure collaboration and alignment.

Qualifications:
* 2-5 years of experience in social media analytics, strategy, or account/community management.
* Familiarity with social media platforms, particularly TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook, including trends, algorithms, and analytics tools.
* Proficiency in platforms such as Hootsuite, TikTok Analytics, Facebook and Instagram Insights.
* Experience collaborating on content creation with creative teams.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to share insights effectively.
* Experience conducting competitive analysis and researching global social media trends.
* Passion for the beauty industry is a plus.
