Office Assistant/Office Manager
needed for an Onsite,
6-month Contract
opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Jose, CA.

Pay Rate: $35 - $40/Hr. Client will Not accept H1's or sponsor.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:


  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in office management, facilities, or operations.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and influence stakeholders to meet deadlines.
  • Must be comfortable in a fast-paced startup culture.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Partner with the Talent Team and key stakeholders to update office policies as necessary.


Workplace and Space Planning

  • Identify operational and engineering team needs.
  • Assist in location identification and lease execution.
  • Plan logistics for office moves or new office locations.


Facilities Management

  • Coordinate with property management for service repairs and maintenance.
  • Liaise with vendors such as building security, guard services, HVAC, janitorial staff, and maintenance.


Office Upkeep

  • Ensure a clean and well-maintained workplace experience.
  • Maintain well-stocked office and kitchen supplies within set budgets.


Vendor Management / Accounting

  • Evaluate, onboard, and manage vendor partnerships.
  • Process and submit timely monthly facilities invoices, bookkeeping, and expense reports.


Receptionist Duties

  • Oversee badge and key distribution.
  • Monitor security cameras and guard reports.
  • Escort visitors and manage office phone calls.
  • Redirect employee inquiries to appropriate contacts.


Onsite Support

  • Receive and coordinate deliveries.
  • Manage incoming/outgoing mail and packages.
  • Support company events, team celebrations, face-to-face meetings, and other ad hoc projects.


Bonus Points:

  • Passion for building a collaborative and engaging workplace culture.
  • Experience with operational and accounting processes, systems design, and implementation.
  • Understanding of upstream/downstream impacts on business operations.
