Senior Manager III, Student Systems

Description

Plans, manages, and coordinates complex student information technology system activities and personnel requiring multi-disciplinary collaboration and broad program scope; exercises leadership to create, design, implement, assess, and revise programs or activities of the section.

Qualifications

Required

  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in public administration, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Five (5) years of experience in student information technology systems, special education systems, learning management systems, application programming interface, or a related field, some of which shall have been in a supervisory or leadership role.
    • Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
  • Knowledge of theories, procedures, practices, expertise, materials, methods related to student information management and technology integration.
  • Knowledge of and ability to implement current information technologies, systems methodologies, and best practices related to student information systems.
  • Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Skill in system development, implementation, and integration practices and techniques.
  • Skill in personnel, financial, and administrative management.
  • Proficiency in the use of data compilation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Ability to prepare written technical reports as well as prepare short and long term plans.
  • Ability to interpret, assess, and recommend modifications to procedures, regulations, and legislation.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and lead teams in multiple projects.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and/or present information to groups.
  • Ability to act as liaison with various departments, providing effective communication between users and shared decision making in the area of student software applications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Preferred
  • Applicable industry standard certification(s).

$117,997 - $179,505
