Critical Care RN Manager Full-Time Benefit Eligible Schedule: 7:00am-3:30pm, 40 hours/week Department: ICU/CVICU/Rapid Response Hospital: Henry Ford Rochester Location: Rochester, MI GENERAL SUMMARY: Manages activities, workflow and nursing resources for one or more assigned nursing units. Responsibilities: Ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements for self and within the unit(s). Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of patient care services for the assigned unit(s). Develops and implements policies and procedures to guarantee efficient and effective delivery of health services in the unit(s). Develops and maintains quality monitoring systems for the assigned unit(s). Monitors and adheres to budget. Approves or monitors expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines. Ensures a high level of associate, patient and physician satisfaction. Conducts hiring, training, directing, counseling, development and evaluating of staff. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION(S) REQUIRED: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of experience and one (1) year of cumulative leadership experience required. ICU/CVICU experience preferred.
