Description

You are a mining Laborer who takes pride in safe work practices. If you're a team player who ensures the well-being of others and lends a hand where needed, this position is for you!

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Support mining operations by performing various tasks on the labor crew
  • Collect samples, lay pipes, and backfill trenches (will train on these skills)
  • Complete production reporting and other required documentation
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with team members
  • Lead both safety and production efforts by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Previous mining experience is preferred but not required
  • Awareness and understanding of mining safety and MSHA policies (preferred not required)
  • Current MSHA p.48 metal/nonmetal certification is preferred (training will be provided if necessary).

Work Conditions:

  • Ability to work overtime when required
