WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Support in training internal users on corporate CAD standards, new software, and effective processes to equip the team for project demands.
Implement standardized processes and guidelines to ensure consistency across all projects.
Lead process improvement initiatives, identifying and addressing inefficiencies to enhance efficiency.
Adapt to frequent project changes in a dynamic environment, maintaining flexibility and responsiveness.
Produce specifications and drawings based on precise calculations and client requirements.
Define and document processes, ensuring clarity and alignment across teams.
Apply CAD design expertise to build and review detailed technical drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications.
Review and validate designs, ensuring consistency, functionality, and manufacturability.
Conduct performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and setting goals for team members.
Manage day-to-day operations of the CAD department, ensuring smooth workflow and timely project completion.

YOU HAVE:
10+ years of CAD design experience implementing standardized processes to ensure consistency across all projects.
3+ years of experience influencing cross-functional teams and driving teamwork.
SolidWorks experience required
Enovia experience preferred
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and will be able to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Pay Transparency

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:

$76,000.00 - $141,100.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
