Role Description & Responsibilities

Our SOLIDWORKS R&D Installation and Licensing team is excited to announce we have an internship opportunity available in our Waltham, MA office!

This is a chance to make a direct impact on the success of our products, which are utilized across various engineering industries. As an intern, you'll contribute to the future development of these products while gaining valuable exposure to the world of research & development.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and enhance next-generation technology within the SOLIDWORKS product portfolio. You will play a key part in shaping the future of SOLIDWORKS installations and internal tools, all while collaborating with a driven, goal-oriented team.

As an intern, your work will focus on implementing software solutions and resolving challenges that impact our products. Strong programming skills will be essential for quickly developing effective solutions to meet evolving needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree candidate in mechanical engineering, computer science or related program
  • Strong working knowledge of computer science and object-oriented design
  • Proficiency with Windows development environments including MS Visual Studio, Visual C++, C#, MFC, STL
  • Development experience with user-facing applications
  • Experience with InstallShield and MSI technologies desirable
  • Experience working with software upgrades and patches
  • Experience with using SOLIDWORKS or other CAD software
  • Demonstrated awareness and understanding of achieving goals and meeting milestones
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Strong intuitive understanding of software ease-of-use
  • Ability and willingness to self-teach skills
  • Flexibility, creativity, and solid problem-solving skills
  • Desire to learn and "figure it out" rather than waiting to be taught
  • Work on-site at Dassault Systemes in our Waltham office
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal


In addition to working with your direct team, as a member of Dassault Systemes NAM Intern Program you will be invited to our Speaker Series, Lunch and Learns, Networking Events and employee functions.

Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $27 - $36 per hour.
