Your Assignment at a Glance:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record of successfully delivering SAP upgrade projects. In this role, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end upgrade initiatives, ensuring seamless execution, risk mitigation, and alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate has managed at least three SAP upgrades, demonstrating expertise in project planning, stakeholder management, system integration, and deployment strategies. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive successful SAP transformations while maintaining system integrity and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end SAP upgrade projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for SAP upgrade initiatives.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, SAP functional and technical teams, and external vendors.
  • Oversee risk management, proactively identifying and mitigating potential project roadblocks.
  • Ensure compliance with SAP best practices, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct stakeholder communication, including executive status reporting and issue escalation.
  • Manage system integration, testing strategies, and deployment plans for SAP upgrades.
  • Drive change management efforts, including end-user training and adoption strategies.
  • Ensure seamless data migration, validation, and reconciliation during upgrades.
  • Collaborate with IT and business leadership to align SAP upgrades with organizational goals

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 successful SAP upgrade projects.
  • Strong understanding of SAP ERP, S/4HANA, and upgrade methodologies.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale, complex IT projects with multiple phases.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, system integrators, and external consultants.
  • Expertise in risk management, scope control, and stakeholder engagement.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or SAP certification is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • In-depth knowledge of Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence and others.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic IT environment.
  • PMP, SCM certification is a plus.
  • Contract is estimated to last from mid-February 2025 - mid-September 2025

Physical and Environmental Requirements
The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by a Contractor to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of the job, the Contractor is required on a daily basis to analyze and interpret data, communicate, and remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the work day and frequently access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The Contractor is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The Contractor must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.

Travel Requirements
Contractor will be required to come to campus 4 days a week (typically Monday - Thursday) and work remote 1 day a week.
