You will not only act as an ambassador for exceptional customer service, but will also be responsible for data entry and the verification of all patient demographic, insurance, and financial information. In this specialist role, you will schedule for both inpatient and outpatient psychology and neuropsychology appointments, understand both medical and behavioral health insurance verification, and be responsible for verifying patient insurance for all service types. Position: Registration Specialist, Psych
Shift: M - F; 8:30am - 3pm

Experience:
1. Two or more years of patient registration and/or financial counseling experience preferred. 2. Strong knowledge of medical and/or behavior health terminology and working knowledge of ICD-10 codes required 3. Knowledge of managed care guidelines required. 4. Superior customer service skills required with demonstrated experience in a customer-oriented environment. 5. Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 6. Strong problem-solving skills and problem resolution skills required. 7. Demonstrated computer knowledge with experience with electronic medical record scheduling or registration applications, use of multiple databases, as well as working knowledge of the internet, word, excel and email. 8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
