Supreme Rice is looking for a Quality Control Inspector at the Docks at our Crowley, LA, location. This job ensures compliance with customer requirements, inspects trucks and rail prior to loading, during and after loading, and checks for compliance to our standards.
DUTIES - Inspect trucks and rail cars prior, during and after loading - Document inspection (pictures) on company-provided device - Ensure customer orders have been filled correctly - Inspect product, weigh, sample and grade rice - Create COAs for shipments REQUIREMENTS - Must be able to read and write proficiently and comfortably working on a computer. - Must be able-bodied and comfortable climbing with heights and lifting over 50# - Able to work in a dusty environment while handling bulky and heavy materials while exposed to seasonal hot and cold temperatures. | |
