Overview: Connection’s Technical Staffing division is seeking a highly skilled Cisco Call Manager Engineer for a contract opportunity with the potential for hire. This role focuses on supporting and maintaining Cisco Call Manager environments, including provisioning, troubleshooting, and system maintenance. The ideal candidate will have senior-level expertise in Cisco Call Manager and general network support experience.
Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert-level support for Cisco Call Manager, including creating trunks, managing audio configurations, troubleshooting, and performing standard MACD (Move, Add, Change, Delete) tasks.
  • Ensure the stability and performance of the Cisco Unified Communications environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve voice-related issues efficiently.
  • Work closely with IT teams to maintain and support enterprise voice infrastructure.
  • Provide general network support as needed, with Aruba or Palo Alto experience preferred.

Requirements:

  • Senior-level experience (SME) in Cisco Call Manager with hands-on expertise in trunk creation, audio management, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of VoIP, SIP, and network protocols.
  • Experience with Aruba or Palo Alto networking technologies is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a support-focused role (no architecture tasks).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
