• M-F Schedule

The Shop Assistant assigned to a Fixed Wing Regional Maintenance Facility (Depot) is responsible for performing hangar maintenance, janitorial functions, and aircraft cleaning/servicing tasks as per the duties and responsibilities listed below to the highest degree of competence and safety in compliance with all company policy and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs minor hangar maintenance tasks as directed.
• Performs minor equipment maintenance and servicing tasks as directed.
• Performs janitorial services of the hangar floor area, shops and offices, as directed.
• Performs aircraft exterior washing and interior cleaning and detailing tasks as directed.
• Performs pickup and delivery services and runs administrative errands.
• Orders consumables for the shop
• Schedules maintenance of company vehicles
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned by the Regional Maintenance Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

• Possess a good mechanical aptitude and the ability to use general hand tools.
• Possess a strong work ethic, customer service skills, and the ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
• Ability to work in a team environment with an eagerness to contribute to the overall success of the Maintenance department and the Company.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
