Intern, Strategy and Transformation

We're hiring a Strategy and Transformation Intern at our headquarters in Cranberry Township, PA. As a team member on the Strategy and Transformation team, you will help shape the overall strategy of the company in light of fast-changing market dynamics in global nuclear energy. You will report to the Senior Manager, Strategy and collaborate with team members from Westinghouse Business Units and Digital and Innovation teams. We are a fast-paced environment so specific projects will vary based on specific business needs. We will consider Undergraduate or MBA Intern candidates.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Help the Business Units develop strategies that drive above-market organic and inorganic growth, as the external environment (e.g., technology, customer needs, regulations, competitors, etc.) evolves
• Identify new growth platforms, growth opportunities within business units, and across businesses
• Produce high-quality work product to help support key decisions made by the Business Units
• Identify, synthesize, and communicate key trends across industries, segments, regions and competitors

• Support and execute the strategic planning process by working collaboratively to support and execute the development of robust work products in a timely manner
• Ensure that the business strategies clearly articulate the business choices, are well-defined, lay out talent and resource requirements, and are implementable.
• Support detailed assessments of various strategic, growth, industry, and market assessment topics of interest to Westinghouse Executive Leadership.
• Profile, monitor and report on key competitors
• Monitor and report M&A activities in industries and segments of interest to Westinghouse

Who You Are:

Undergraduate Intern Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a business related field. Engineering disciplines will be considered as well.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 strongly preferred.
• Completion of Sophomore year of college
• Must be able to work a minimum of 8 weeks; 10 plus weeks preferred.
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

MBA Intern Requirements

• Pursuing a MBA degree.
• Completion of Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, economics, or other relevant subject
• Minimum Undergrad and MBA GPA of 3.0 strongly preferred.
• Preference for experience in manufacturing, energy industries and/or in engineering, product management, operations, or commercial roles
• Must be able to work a minimum of 8 weeks; 10 plus weeks preferred.
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
