Park St. in Madison, WI. Be part of something remarkable Bring your nursing expertise to the #1 hospital in Wisconsin! We are seeking a Registered Nurse - Pre/Post/PACU to:
- Deliver comprehensive perioperative and peri anesthesia care across several surgical specialties, including ENT, Cataracts, Pain, Hand, Foot, Ortho (scopes), General, and some GYN.
- Provide comprehensive care for surgical patients by preparing them for surgery. This includes Perioperative Checklists, IV placement and Medication Administration.
- Provide care in the Outpatient PACU. Critical care experience preferred.
- Develop a therapeutic relationship to enable the patient and family to verbalize understanding of post-surgical care and discharge teaching.

Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
Work Experience
- 6 months of RN experience Required
- Experience working pre/post operatively with varied surgical patient populations Preferred
- Emergency nursing, critical care, medical/surgical, or ambulatory surgery center experience Preferred
- Moderate sedation and cardiac monitoring experience Preferred
- 1 year or more of RN experience Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients are receiving care or may work as eligible per state licensing regulations Upon Hire Required
- Basic Life Support/CPR Upon Hire Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Upon Hire Required
