Sr Accountant, Strategic Resources

Job Summary:

The Senior Accountant will work collaboratively with other members of the finance team to prepare supporting balance sheet schedules and reconciliations. This position works at a variety of clients on a project basis.

Job Duties:

• Prepare supporting balance sheet schedules and reconciliations
• Work with site accounting and operations team members on accounting, reporting and analysis.
• Maintain complete and accurate accounting records to ensure ledgers follow GAAP and corporate accounting procedures and guidelines.
• Prepare journal entries and conduct reconciliations of the general ledger and general ledger accounts.
• Participate in month-end closing for multiple companies.
• Analyze managerial and GAAP financials statements, ensure G/L accounts are properly stated, and generate the monthly reporting package.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree, required
• MBA, preferred

Experience:

• Four (4) plus years of experience as an Accountant, required
• Four (4) plus years of experience assisting with month-end close, financial analysis and GAAP reporting, required

License/Certifications:

• CPA, preferred
