None POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
Alutiiq Essential Services, LLC is excited to offer an incredible opportunity for a dynamic Laboratory Metrologist to join our team and support the NASA Laboratory Services Contract at John C. Stennis Space Center. The Laboratory Metrologist is the first line supervisor for Metrology Technicians in their respective laboratory and provides guidance and leadership to subordinates based on organizational goals and company policy. The Laboratory Metrologist interprets, executes, and recommends modifications to organizational policies and operates with a moderate degree of independence under established policies and procedures with supervision from the Measurement Standards and Calibration Laboratory (MS&CL) Manager. The Laboratory Metrologist receives initial instructions, equipment requirements, and advice from the MS&CL Manager and/or Sr. Metrologist as needed. The Laboratory Metrologist solves practical problems encountered in fields of specialization. The Laboratory Metrologist develops and validates technical procedures and related activities including prioritizing and assigning work tasks to support established goals. Maintains contact with MS&CL Manager routinely and has routine interface with Sr. Metrologist and customers or their representatives. Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
** Management will have selection discretion, professional experience in metrology and business along with specialized training commensurate with assignment should be considered.
