Are you ready to use your years of experience to play a key role and lead operations of assets in the Cushing area? If so, this opportunity is for you! In this role you will be responsible for the operating budget of the area, accountable for identifying and communicating risks and charged with developing and maintaining rapport with emergency responders, regulators, government officials, and other supporters and opposition-in partnership with PACS.

Here's what you will do:

  • Operations/Maintenance: Ensure that the pipeline system is operated and maintained within a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and all government regulations.

  • Financial: Ensure financial objectives set forth by the company are achieved.

  • Personnel: Responsible for managing 1 Area Operation Supervisor, 1 Technical Services Supervisor, 1 Terminal Operations Supervisor, 1 PLM Supervisor and an Administrative Assistant and ensuring that all employees are properly trained in all aspects of their responsibilities.

  • Emergency Response: Assist in the education, organization, and preparation of Emergency Response.

  • Safety and Environment: Ensure the pipeline system is operated and maintained within a safe and environmentally sound manner in accordance with company policies and all government regulations.

  • Leadership: Provide open communication, strong work ethic, integrity, facilitate all company objectives and values and mentor employees in those areas. Ensure that all employees work towards the company objectives in a safe and efficient manner.

Who you are:

You have the following:

Required:

  • Related university degree and eight-plus years' experience OR ten-plus years of previous field operations experience, OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience.

  • Proven ability to perform associated tasks.

  • Familiar with operational and maintenance practices.

  • Self-motivated, proven effective leadership and communication skills

  • Relationship building skills with employees, peers, public officials, and stakeholders.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment with extensive travel to field locations.

  • Occasional travel outside the Area/Region.

  • Position requires calm, quick decision making under intense conditions.

  • Frequent imposed deadlines for ad-hoc type requests and initiatives.

  • Time commitments often extend beyond normal working hours.

Physical Requirements:

Include but are not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement. Mobility to walk in outdoor conditions that occasionally involve uneven and slippery terrain and to enter and exit excavations. Agility with the ability to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and other devices using feet and legs, and/or hands and arms.
