Responsible for the installation and configuration of workstation software and hardware for IT users. Learns to identify proper documented procedures and scripts used for troubleshooting end user problems.*40% Following established policies and procedures, assists in rollout and installation of workstation software and hardware. Performs software updates and handles moves, computer setup and peripherals from site to site.*40% Maintains workstation hardware and software. Replaces hardware that has become faulty and corrects software issues. May order replacement parts and track status/inventory of items. Ensures tools and equipment are licensed and approved by IS purchasing.*20% Complete data backups and restorations for users. Assists customers/users and answers questions regarding their equipment. May perform software testing and evaluation of new software and hardware prior to production., Education: Required Education: Associate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job related field. or 2 years of job related work experience.Required Work Experience: See Education.Required Licenses and Certificates: A+ CertificationPreferred Work Experience: 1 year-of technical operations support experience., Languages: English |
