Seeking a Intake Clinician to join our interdisciplinary clinical team working with individuals diagnosed with a Serious Mental Illness (SMI) or General Mental Health diagnoses at our Oak Healthcare Clinic.

Location: Near 44th St and McDowell Rd

Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours/week

Additional Language Differential Pay Available: Spanish, Vietnamese, Korean, Arabic, Farsi, Swahili or ASL

Licensed Behavioral Health Professionals and Behavioral Health

Technicians 2 or higher = $2/hour (Approximately $4160 Annually)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As a Intake Clinician in an outpatient clinic setting, you will be responsible for conducting initial mental health screenings and assessments with members, to evaluate their presenting problems. You will determine their needs and develop the appropriate treatment plan, schedule the appropriate treatment and facilitate coordination of care, while providing internal and external educational resources. You will prepare the intake documentation, progress notes and ensure that all required clinical documentation is complete.

Qualifications

  • Preferred: Licensure issued by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners to engage in the practice of behavioral health in Arizona, Arizona Licensed: LCSW, LPC, LISAC, LMSW, LAC, LASAC or LMFT in Good Standing; OR
  • Preferred: A master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology or a closely related behavioral health field and two years of professional counseling experience in a substance abuse or mental health treatment program OR any equivalent combination of education and experience; OR
  • A bachelor's degree in the behavioral health field and two years of relevant experience in a behavioral health setting, to include the assessment process.
  • Must have ability to perform First Aid or CPR as necessary and appropriate.
  • Knowledge in use of Electronic Health Records - NextGen a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Minimum typing speed of 25 wpm
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have valid Arizona driver's license, be 21 years of age with minimum 4 years driving experience and meet requirements of Terros Health's driving policy.
  • Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for an Arizona fingerprint clearance card (Level 1) within 7 working days of assuming role.
  • Must pass background check, TB test and other pre-employment screening
