AVNA is seeking a maintenance electrician in a manufacturing setting is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within the plant. This role ensures that machines and electrical infrastructure are operating efficiently to minimize downtime and avoid production delays.

Key responsibilities include:



  1. Routine Inspections: Checking electrical systems, wiring, and components for signs of wear, damage, or malfunction.
  2. Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnosing and fixing electrical issues, such as faults in machines, control systems, or power supply equipment.
  3. Preventative Maintenance: Performing regular maintenance to prevent breakdowns, including replacing worn-out components or updating wiring.
  4. Installation: Installing new electrical systems, equipment, or machinery in accordance with safety codes and specifications.
  5. Compliance: Ensuring that all electrical work meets safety standards, regulations, and codes.
  6. Upgrades: Recommending and implementing upgrades to electrical systems to enhance efficiency or accommodate new manufacturing processes.
  7. Documentation: Keeping accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  8. Collaboration: Working with other maintenance and operations teams to coordinate efforts and address any plant-wide issues.


Skills needed for this role:



  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and machinery
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and electrical schematics
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience with both high and low-voltage systems
  • E1 license required
  • 5 years experience as a licensed electrician
