Family Description

Customer Services (CS) covers customer service in different areas such as technical support, account support, operations, maintenance, network design / deployment / integration / transformation, and education. Generates revenue and the increase of customer satisfaction through planning, designing, deploying, integrating, optimising, operating, and maintaining phases.

Subfamily Description

Architecture (ART) covers the development of end-to-end solution architecture designed to meet specific needs and works as a part of a customer team. Contains the definition of an architecture which comprises an integration design and specification of products and / or services which makeup the solution.

Main Responsibility Area:-

* Provides senior level solution consulting service, having expertise in SDM Portfolio { PCRF, PCF HLR, HSS, SDL, UDM,One-NDS, IMS Nodes, One-EIR and One-MNP} over multiple technologies (3G, 4G, 5G, cloud, enterprise); acts as a source of expertise for colleagues

* Design and leads the identification and specification of complex solutions in complex customer environment.

* Support Nokia Sales Team for SDM & Policy Solutions during sales phases

Position Description:-




  • This position is open for US Citizens only
  • Develop detailed customer solution design & architecture and perform technical risk evaluation for overall technical solution.
  • Own technical part of bid preparation: solution design/architecture, effort estimates, scope of work, bill of material, etc. and holding key role in contract negotiations to protect SI value.
  • Lead the technical implementation during the delivery phase.
  • Present offered solution design/architecture to customer and verify/adapt it during realization phase
  • Liaise with SI Engagement Architect and other members of the regional team as well as with Product Managers, Project manager and 3rd party product manager to align customer requirements with available generic solutions, Nokia products and 3rd party products


Skills:



  • Good Knowledge of GSM/UMTS/LTE Networks and Call flows
  • Solution design & Implementation of Core Network Elements including PCRF, PCF HLR, HSS, SDL, UDM,One-NDS, IMS Nodes, One-EIR and One-MNP.
  • Subscriber Data base migration of SDM & Policy nodes.
  • Experience of installing HP hardware - inserting in racks, power and network cabling within the rack
  • Experience of installing Juniper top of rack switch in rack, cabling
  • Experience of positioning built racks in position in server room, cabling power & network to customer environment
  • Experience of installing PCRF, PCF HLR, HSS, SDL, UDM,One-NDS, IMS Nodes, One-EIR and One-MNP on commissioned hardware
  • Experience in Cloud + Virtualization and VNF & CNF Deployments
  • Good experience in Unix/Linux commands
  • Good experience in Router and Switch configuration
  • Good understanding of HLR, HSS, IMS , Policy and VoLTE Call Flows
  • Basic knowledge of HP product details
  • Basic Knowledge of firmware.
  • Basic scripting language expertise (Shell script, PERL, Python, Ansible) would be added advantage.



Position Requirements: -

Advanced Troubleshooting & Integration capabilities preferably on PCRF, PCF HLR, HSS, SDL, UDM, One-NDS, IMS Nodes, One-EIR and One-MNP. Nokia Experience preferred.
Knowledge of Unix/Linux OS's,OpenStack, Kubernetes & Databases ( Aerospike/MariaDB/Oracle/SQL )
Competences on TCP/IP & main Protocols : Diameter ( Gx-Rx-Sy )/ HTTP2 / SIP / Sigtran / SOAP-XML / SNMP)
Advanced competence of NW Architectures/Products & International standards : 3GPP/ETSI
Cloud knowledge ( VNF, CNF ) & related products ( CBIS/CBAM - NCS/NCOM) or platform VmWare/Openstack ...
Basic knowledge of Policy sw solution portfolio based on 5780DSC/SPS-P / NPC CNF experience is a notably add-on
Experience on Application integration projects, in particular in multi BD and/or complex projects
Familiarity with Payment systems, Mobile Network Integration, VoLTE, IMS and SDM would be important
Previous experience with OSS/BSS systems and frameworks
Solution Architect accreditation or referenced experiences

- Ability to lead complex technical programs

- Ability to discuss with customer for requirements gathering

- Ability to Solution Design Creation for SDM & Policy products.

- Solution Deployment and Solution Architecture Creation support.

- Ability to troubleshoot call flow related issues and fixing the same.

- Ability to understand the new solutions quickly and delivering the same to Customer.
- Strong understanding of Mobile Network (2G, 3G & 4G).

- Advanced level on Operating System such as Linux or Solaris.

- Experience on networking troubleshooting using tools such as Wireshark.

- Experience on virtualization - VMWare or Open stack
- Ability to work with both technical and management layers at customer.

- Ability to work on Automation initiatives.

- Ability to play a role of Individual contributor as well as team player based on the project requirements.
- Travel availability: 25% of the time on domestic or international travels.

- Good Communication Skills.
