Position Title: MEDCoE Captains Career Course Instructor and SME

Job Summary: We are seeking skilled individual for the role as a Technical Instructor and Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the U.S. Army officer mid-level learning curriculum and AMEDD branch-specific programs. This position requires expertise in developing curriculum, conducting training, providing subject matter expertise, and assisting in the creation of instructional materials. Place of performance for this contract will be provided at Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston/Camp Bullis/MEDCoE, San Antonio.

Responsibilities:



  • Assist in developing accurate and effective instructional materials.
  • Conduct training sessions in accordance with established learning objectives.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to support curriculum development.
  • Collaborate with instructional designers and programmers on web-based training.
  • Maintain administrative records and training materials.
  • Participate in technical discussions and contribute positively to teamwork.


General Requirements:



  • Be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Possess good interpersonal relationship skills necessary for establishing and

    maintaining a good learning and working environment with students and faculty.
  • Be capable of learning and utilizing current and emerging military and

    commercial technology.
  • Be proficient with the Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft Office suite and

    incorporated programs to include Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and

    Access; be proficient with photo editing software (specific item may vary).
  • Be able to troubleshoot basic computer hardware and software required for services

    being provided under each individual task order


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience as an AMEDD officer and graduate of the U.S. Army Medical Department Captains Career Course. Exception for prior 67J/90A AMEDD officers with AMEDD experience but did not complete AMEDD CCC.
  • Six years of combined arms doctrine experience as an AMEDD officer.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Strong expertise in AMEDD operations.
