Overview The Superintendent assists the project superintendent in coordinating trade contractors, maintaining high safety standards, and assisting with the quality control process. Responsibilities - Coordinate trade contractors to stay on schedule
- Maintain strict accordance with the contract documents - Support all safety efforts in the field, lead safety orientations - Stay informed of all field activities - Monitor actual work to maintain compliance for the work plan - Maintain daily reports and documentation - Enforce safety and quality control policies - Attend and participates in project meetings - Ability to track production - Self-performing capabilities, workforce planning and quantifying material needs - Basic forecasting capabilities - Establish credibility among owners, trade contractors, unions etc. by maintaining a fair and trustworthy environment Qualifications KEY COMPETENCIES

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION - BS or MS degree in Engineering or Construction Management - 0-2 years experience in superintendent role on construction projects - Or equivalent combination of education and experience KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES - Strong technical and communication skills - Excellent organizational skills - Ability to work in a team environment - Proficient in Microsoft Office, Procore - Construction-document and drawing literate, with knowledge of all phases of construction - Experience and proficiency in all divisions of work, methods, materials, scheduling and cost control - OSHA 30 hour certified Next 150 Construction Services has an unwavering focus on safety, the environment and caring about everyone involved in our work.
