Role Overview: Join our dynamic Content Team as a Trend Curator, where you'll be at the forefront of identifying and curating the most timely, trending, and culturally relevant public content. Your efforts will help our community stay connected with both local and global happenings through engaging and informative content.
Key Responsibilities: * Trend Identification: Spot and highlight daily trends, tentpole moments, and culturally significant topics that resonate with our community. Be ready to react swiftly to unexpected, emerging trends. * Content Surfacing: Bring fresh, trending, and timely publicly submitted content to the forefront. * Collaboration: Work closely with a team of Trend Curators to sift through thousands of submissions, pinpointing key moments, trends, and culturally relevant themes. * Moderation: Review and moderate submitted content in real-time to ensure quality and relevance. * Cross-Functional Communication: Engage with engineering, moderation, and product teams to address and resolve any issues that arise during your shift. Skills & Qualifications: * Expertise in Trends: In-depth knowledge of US short-form video trends, major pop culture moments, and significant events. * Generational Insight: Strong understanding of Gen Alpha, Gen Z, and Millennials. * Proactive Team Player: Highly motivated, reactive, and proactive with excellent communication skills. * Research & Organization: Exceptional research abilities and organizational skills. * Attention to Detail: Sharp editorial eye and meticulous attention to detail. * Cultural Awareness: Up-to-date with pop culture, trends, and current events. * Collaborative Spirit: Respectful and kind team player who values others' opinions. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $23.86 - $23.86/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
