Description
The Psychologist is responsible for the care of patients in primary care clinics, as well as research, educational and advocacy initiatives as determined by the Division and/or Center leadership. Primary Care Behavioral Health Services at Children's National is an outpatient integrated care program. Team psychologists work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide behavioral health consultation and short-term follow-up within the primary care setting. Direct services are provided in-person and via telehealth to children, adolescents, young adults receiving care at community-based clinics in the D.C. area. Consultations for patients include initial assessment, brief follow-up, and service referrals. Consultation is also provided to the medical care teams. Additional responsibilities include supervising psychology trainees and participating in clinical research. Qualifications
