Role Summary

Rivian Field Service Operations is seeking a Program Manager to help fulfill the goals of the broader team. This position will work closely with all areas of Field Service, Service Operations, as well as Commercial Operations, Recruiting, Learning and Development, Facilities, EH&S, and other teams and support ongoing programs related to Field Service Operations by leading and assisting with the execution of projects. This Program Manager role will require exceptional cross-functional interaction, attention to detail, great organizational and planning skills, program management knowledge, capability of data analysis and visualization, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Responsibilities

  • Own the scope, road map, and tracking of projects and/or programs from start to finish
  • Set goals, manage scope, track deliverables, manage expectations, identify risks and drive mitigations across all stages of the project.
  • Drive initiatives cross functionally with relevant stakeholders within and outside of Field Service/Service.
  • Coordinate and manage the contractor management program, including opening of new contractor roles, review of resumes, facilitation of approvals, and conversion to FTEs with Field Service, Recruiting, and external vendor teams
  • Support the creation and migration of communication sites/resources, such as SharePoint, into new tools and platforms (KMS Lighthouse, Google Sites, and more)
  • Create of tools and resources for a variety of People-related programs, such as recognition, communication, hiring, and/or new schedule implementation
  • Partner with the program sponsor, program managers, product/functional leads, and others (depending on program) to ensure milestones are met and project is a success.
  • Build partnerships with other organizations and work proactively with business teams to ensure objectives are met.
  • Ensure timely completion of all programs and projects.
  • Anticipate, plan and coordinate internal logistics/needs across projects
  • Work collaboratively with leads and managers to set goals and track deliverables
  • Create and develop program reports, presentations, and summaries for executive management in conjunction with team leads across the business
  • Develop tools and analytics for project reporting, enabling program teams to focus more efforts on problem solving, risk management, and changes
  • Integration at all levels - act as the glue between the teams to ensure there is cross collaboration, tradeoffs being made across the teams, and issues escalated.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned within the scope of the position.
  • Assist and support other aspects of the Service Organization as needed

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a related professional and dynamic environment
  • 4-year college/university degree or similar/equivalent work experience in operations or related field
  • Program management, engineering, business analytics, data visualization, consulting or similar strategy-to-execution experience preferred
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Excellent command of project management techniques and tools, including agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a readiness to be customer-facing if necessary
  • Proficient in Google Suite and/or Microsoft 365, especially Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint/Slides, Word/Docs, Outlook/Gmail, SharePoint/Sites
  • Proficiency in a variety of program/project management tools, such as Confluence, Jira, and more
  • Experience using data analysis software such as Tableau, SQL, SmartSheet, and others
  • Experience using SalesForce, Coupa, Lucid, Figma, and/or Adobe software a plus
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Must be available for a regular schedule of a minimum 40 hours a week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, according to business need
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 40%)

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range/Hourly Rate for California Based Applicants: $85k - $95k per year (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time and part-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Full Time Employee coverage is effective on the first day of employment. Part-Time employee coverage is effective the first of the month following 90 days of employment
