GeoDecisions, a division of Gannett Fleming TranSystems, is currently seeking applicants interested in joining the team as a GIS Architect at our Miami, FL office on a hybrid-remote basis, reporting 3 days per week onsite.

What you'll be challenged to do:

This is an excellent opportunity to join and enhance a diverse team that is currently working on a wide range of exciting geospatially based data analytics, data visualization, and automated decision support-oriented projects across the country in several industries.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Lead, define, and design the development GIS applications and toolsets.
  • Oversee ArcGIS Portal and Enterprise Management.
  • Implement GIS applications and toolsets, including ArcGIS Online and Enterprise.
  • Configuration and custom development of Esri Experience Builder.
  • Dashboard development for data analysis and situational awareness.
  • Configure and deploy field collection apps (Survey123, Collector, FieldMaps).
  • Create and manage Enterprise Geodatabases.
  • Develop process and data automation via scripting.
  • Architect efficient solutions and Enterprise GIS environments to meet client requirements.
  • Participate in client meetings and perform demos of developed tools.
Education | Experience:

What you'll bring to our firm:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, GIS, Geography, Management Information Systems or related field.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of GIS ESRI suite of software, including:
    • Use of and management of GIS with ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online.
    • Administration and configuration of ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Hub, Datastor.
    • Configuration and customization of Survey123, Field Maps, ArcGIS Dashboards, ArcGIS Web App Builder, ArcGIS Experience Builder.
  • Production experience with Python and ArcGIS API for Python and ArcPy.
  • Production experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server geodatabase management / SQL querying multi-environment setups (Dev, Test, Prod).
  • Experience creating geoprocessing services using ArcGIS Pro Model Builder and ArcGIS Pro Python Toolbox.
  • Successful deployment of configured Apps with ArcGIS Web App Builder and Experience Builder Developer editions.
  • Client-focused and service-oriented.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.

What we prefer you bring:

  • 10+ years of GIS experience.
  • Customer-facing role experience.
  • Experience leading a project team.
  • ArcGIS Enterprise installation and setup.
  • Python scripting for data ingestion and normalization.
  • Proficient with AGOL/Enterprise app JSON and XML.
  • Custom widget/theme implementation in ArcGIS Web App Builder/Experience Builder.
  • Troubleshooting and optimization using ArcGIS Server Manager and Monitor.
  • Knowledge of deploying/troubleshooting standalone applications to IIS.
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL/PostGIS geodatabases.
  • Experience in Transportation or AEC industries.

Compensation:
The range for this position is salary range is $90,000 - $120,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
