To learn more about Georgia-Pacific's Building Products business, please visit our website - [3] Building Products | Georgia-Pacific What You Will Do * Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the SVP of Operations and leadership teams to develop and align safety and health strategies with business objectives and the Koch Safety Vision. Continuously monitor performance using leading and lagging indicators, adjusting as needed to drive impactful results. * Organizational Guidance: Lead the Building Products Safety and Health organization, equipping leaders to proactively prevent, contain, and recover from potential risks. * Operational Influence: Collaborate with leaders across Gypsum, Plywood, Lumber, and OSB/CP to integrate safety into operational decision-making, ensuring a culture where safety is a shared responsibility. * Risk Reduction: Work with Georgia-Pacific's safety capability team and critical hazard leaders to implement risk reduction strategies, driving system resilience and reducing exposure to critical hazards. * Capability Development: Champion Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) principles to empower employees, enhance risk awareness, and embed continuous learning across all facilities. * Continuous Improvement: Use disciplined operations and data-driven insights to improve safety outcomes, building systems that adapt, prevent, and recover effectively. * Learning Organization: Ensure incidents and near misses are thoroughly investigated with insights and learning's leveraged as appropriate. * Staffing and Engagement: Ensure sites are appropriately staffed with safety professionals and leaders are aligned and actively engaged in advancing safety objectives. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Bachelor's degree or higher in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or Engineering * Experience improving organizational effectiveness and safety performance across multiple sites * Experience leading Safety or Operations within a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment * Experience with safety management systems and other mental models that drive organizational effectiveness * Must travel domestically approximately 35% - 50% of the time What Will Put You Ahead * Operations experience leading a plant or mill * Multi-site operations leadership experience At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
