Work type: On Campus Location: Normal, Illinois Title: GA - Pre-Professional - Dean of Students - Leadership Education and Development - Fall 2025 - Spring 2026 Job Summary The Leadership Education and Development (LEAD) unit of the Dean of Students Office provides engaging leadership experiences to student learners at all levels of leadership readiness. The graduate assistant will coordinate program logistics, supervise student employees, assess programs/initiatives, and consult with student organizations. Additional Information Preferred qualifications include a graduate student in their second year of their program or a student with full-time work experience on a college campus. Graduate assistants in the Dean of Students Office must maintain good disciplinary standing to retain their position. Salary Rate / Pay Rate $1510 per month Required Qualifications 1. Eligible for appointment as per the requirements in the Graduate Assistant Handbook which can be found at http://hr.illinoisstate.edu/downloads/GA_Handbook.pdf Work Hours Generally Monday-Friday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.; some evening and weekend hours required. This is a 10-month position with an average of 20 hours/week.
